Orange orange orange

Yellow is my offcial favorite color. Has been since I was about 9. I'm drawn to bright sunshine true yellows. I love chartruse yellows and neon yellow. The best yellow to me is the sport yellow. Think of the Sony Walkmans of yore.

But orange is a close second and whenever yellow isn't available I choose orange. The truer the orange the better. Actually a good yellow orange works well and I do own a coat that is a red orange that I love.

I was thinking about orange yesterday as I kayaked around the bay. It's been perhaps 10 years since I've been in my kayak. Being pregnant or parenting small children over the last 9 years has made the work of cleaning the boat out and taking it for a spin undesirable. However yesterday I got her ready ad took a short easy time out and even took the kids out between my legs for short jaunts later in the afternoon.
