Oh the weather has been so delicious lately. Warm but not too warm. Sunny on some days or like today, grey and overcast with threats of a rain storm, yet the temp out of perfect for a hand knit scarf, velvet blazer over a cotton dress and capri leggings. I particularly love the grey back drop against the orange, red and yellow leaves. The sky is so low and the air so breezy while I bike under a blanket of falling leaves.
New soft green gloves add a punch of color and warmth in the morning.
On another note- I hate to guilt y'all into comments. But I need some cheering and boo-ya's to get me to write up some nice reviews and proper intro to my bikes. Life is good and I am often tired and wonder is anyone still reading? Do they want to hear more? Shout at me.
Booya(kasha)! Reading and can't wait to hear more about the electric life ...
ReplyDelete:-)
ReplyDeleteI want to hear more!
ReplyDeleteGo Girl Go!
ReplyDeletei'm reading!
ReplyDeletei'm here, but usually reading it in my google reader feed on my phone, which doesn't allow for easy commenting :)
ReplyDeletemore posts please! and photos too! yay to biking in the burbs !
ReplyDeleteOh- see, I had no idea! Hey JJ, hey Jen!!! smooches.
ReplyDeletehi anons!
Like you, I'm enjoying the beautiful fall weather, too. It was mid-50's when I rode this morning before work. Haven't figured out how to ride to work and back home with the days getting so short. Either I can ride in with daylight and home in the dark or to the office in the dark and home in the dark. Not ideal!
ReplyDeleteKeep riding and posting -- I'm enjoying hearing of your adventures.
I'm still here too... I'm really interested in reading more about the new trike
ReplyDeleteerin B- did you get my email??
ReplyDeleteGinger- the shorter days just bring me down. I look forward to Dec 21 every fall.
I'm reading! New family bicyclist here, just got my bakfiets last month and toting around my 7 and 5yr old on it :) Reading about other bicycling families keeps me inspired as we head into the winter!
ReplyDeleteLove the blog! As another city-girl-living-in-suburbs, it keeps me motivated :)
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog. Keep on writing. I think we all need a bit of inspiration as we reluctantly chill into late autumn.
ReplyDeleteYay for hand-knit scarves! I've also been loving this weather.
ReplyDeleteI've been quite inconsistent with my blog-reading lately but am always glad to see a post from you, my dear!
I enjoy hearing about your rides. I just discovered biking and your blog and it's inspiring to hear of the joys and frustrations of riding WITH KIDS!
ReplyDeletei could use some warm! We're drowning out here. Love the hand knit scarf...beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Eryn- yay for new bakfiets owner! And yay for 7 and 5 year olds. I love hearing about people riding older kids as my kids are older too. I figure I am making trips that I would otherwise make in a car, so why is it wierd that I bike them and they ride.... If my oldest was begging to ride on her own maybe... but she isn't. she prefers to sit and read. and frankly I prefer to not have to worry about two bikes behind me since I am a rather new cyclist I have enough to worry about myself.
ReplyDeleteYay MelsBells. yay for city girls.
Hey Anniebikes!
smooch miss gab.
thanks anon.
anne- boo on rain!
thanks for the scarf love- it's recycled Sari silk. It's really soft and was fun to knit.
