Before I start, I want to make it clear- I am not car free. And I admit to being a mostly fair weather rider. Some rainy days I'll ride. But some rainy days I'll choose to take the easy way out. I'm ok with this set up.
Thanksgiving Week Monday-Wednesday ( We'll be on the cape Thurs-Fri and neither of my bikes are there right now...)
Monday:
Ride- Boxbike
Destination- Monday Yoga and errands: Yoga, Harris, Vet, Whole Foods, home.
Approx distance 6ish miles total. 9-1pm
Tuesday:
Ride- public
Destination- 3rd grade class breakfast, whole foods ( it's T-day week!), Post Office, home.
Approx distance, 3-3.5 miles. 8-10:15am
Wednesday:
Ride- Jetta
Destination- Stop and Shop ( did I mention it's T-day week??) home to put eggs and half and half in fridge, Yoga, home.
Approx distance, 5 miles. 8-11:15am
As you see, I often move in a small circle. I drove today because it was raining, but mostly because I was pressed for time. School let out very early and in order to fit in yoga I needed to make that early store run and back to home and then to yoga all before 9:30. I just made it today with the car. I was actually glad it was raining steadily out this AM or I would have in all good consciousness biked and would have missed The Best Yoga Class ever today.
Have a great holiday if you are celebrating!
I'm glad I keep a log. I now wish it included more than just my commute.
